Stunning Views from the Ko Phi Phi Lookout Point

It took about a billion steps, two emergency bottles of water bought at the rest stop, and constant gasps for breath, but Tom and I made it to the top portion of the famous Ko Phi Phi lookout point. It was worth the near exhaustion and weak legs for the view – a panoramic view of the bays framing this small island in Thailand. A narrow split of land divides the two main bays and the sparkling turquoise sea spreads out from it with Ko Phi Phi Leh jutting up out of the sea in the distance.

Half way up to the Ko Phi Phi lookout point. I was huffing and puffing and chugging water at this point.

And now...for the view.

The tide is far out at this time of day.
